Thank you to all our friends, family, and members who have been so generous this year.  Whether you are new to the Oasis Community or have been with us from the beginning, we truly appreciate all you do for us and our disabled members.  Because of you, Oasis is able to impact disabled members’ lives in positive ways. We can provide independence training, build self-confidence, and advocate for, and work toward, inclusion in the housing community.  

 

This year, donations allowed us to hire our first Community Builder to work with nine of our disabled members as they transition from living with family to navigating life on their own.  We encourage them to build their social circles as well as their support network of friends, expanding beyond the confines of the disabled community. This coming year, we will prepare a second group of members for training and transitioning to an independent life.
