Training for Oasis Housing
Oasis Community of West Michigan requires those who will be participants in Oasis supported housing to attend training in order to prepare the disabled participant and their family for a successful transition to independent living.
One-time fee of $650 for all the following:

Skills Assessment - Assessment for parents to fill out and one for the disabled adult to complete. Used to assist families to determine life skills that can be worked on in the whole life model.

Participant family meetings – Group that completed training to walk through Life Steps Binder as a group. Five (5) meetings, parents only, to further the knowledge of items discussed in the transition training class. Creating Community Living Options

Guiding the Navigation Process – Guiding members to Individual community connections for CLS, housing, transportation & other moving out connections.

Pay Training Program fee by check to avoid credit card processing fee of 2.2% + .30 cents that is required of those paying by credit card. Because there is an additional fee added to those credit card fees that is charged to Oasis we ask participants to pay for training by check.
